Accelis™ |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
Accelis™ is a weight loss supplement that claims to “help you lose 10.65 pounds fast!” The product claims to provide “fast weight loss – made easy!” An advertisement for this product calls it a “revolutionary stimulant-free weight-loss supplement.” It is also said to be “scientifically designed,” apparently because one of its key ingredients was “discovered in the jungles of the Philippines in the South Pacific.”
As most dieters may know, the process of losing weight generally is not “fast and easy.” Maintaining a healthy diet, an active lifestyle and quality supplementation is often an ongoing, lifetime commitment. For this reason, products that bill themselves as producing “quick and easy” results may be cause for suspicion or scrutiny. We will evaluate this product based on the quality of its ingredients and its practicality over the long term. We will also discuss feedback provided by some customers who have tried this product.

 | Pros |
• Does not seem to contain Caffeine
|
 | Cons |
• Ingredient Corosolic Acid has been called into question • Claims of “fast, easy” weight loss seem exaggerated • Some consumers have complained that it does not work • Does not seem to emphasize the role of exercise

 | Formula In Depth |
While the ingredient Corosolic Acid is promoted in this supplement as being a key weight loss ingredient, some researchers believe there is no credible evidence to suggest this. In fact, it has been said that no studies substantiating these claims have been reported in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. Moreover, some researchers claim this ingredient is not valuable in supplementation for humans at all.
In addition, this formulation appears to lack a potent appetite suppressant and a thermogenic component. These two types of ingredients, when paired in a supplement, are known to work together to curb cravings and increase the body’s calorie-burning capacities. For a supplement that claims to yield “fast and easy” results, it would seem that these ingredients might have been beneficial.

 | Customer Feedback |
Consumer discussion boards seem to feature largely negative comments about this product, and some even claimed weight gain while using it. One dieter said, “Could not tell if it was working at all, did not curb my hunger pangs. I thought it was a waste of money.” Another said, “I used Accelis™ for two months, and gained weight instead of losing it. I would recommend that you stay away from this product.” Still another dieter said, “I tried Accelis™ for one month. I followed the directions, ate properly and gained 6 pounds. Luckily I purchased it on sale, but I would not recommend it to anyone.”

 | Conclusion |
Products that claim to provide weight loss results quickly and without effort may not be dealing with the consumer on a completely honest level. This product appears to contain one “key ingredient” that may be questionable in its value in both weight loss and overall health benefit.
There are currently supplements available that combine very potent ingredients for safe, long-lasting weight loss. In particular, the thermogenic component Advantra-Z® has the potential to burn up to 300 additional calories per day. When combined with the powerful appetite suppressant Hoodia, this ingredient has shown excellent results in clinical studies. Some manufacturers of supplements featuring these two ingredients are proud to offer free samples of these products to consumers for evaluation.
