This product may have a host of ingredients designed to assist people in losing weight. However, we cannot determine that for sure, since we are unable to find a single shred of information on the ingredients at the time we compiled this review. The lack of this information is deeply disconcerting to us. If a person is going to spend money to put something into his/her body, we feel they should know what exactly they are ingesting. If the retailer cannot take it upon themselves to list the ingredients of a capsule (important information that could mean the difference between life and death to someone with severe allergies), then we cannot fully trust its advertised effectiveness. Dieters may prefer to try products with Hoodia and Advantra-Z®, as companies seem confident enough in those ingredients to actually list them on their websites.

The one feature we like about this capsule is that it costs about $41.38 for 80 capsules, which appears to be less than most similar types of supplements we found online. We would be more certain whether this is a good deal, however, if we actually knew how many capsules dieters should take each day (another omitted piece of crucial information). On the plus side, an individual may also receive free shipping by purchasing $200 or more worth of stock.

At the time of this review, we found one piece of consumer feedback. However, we believe this was written as a joke. The respondent’s name was “SwollenDick,” and the body of the response read “Huge.” We are uncertain whether this response is intended as vulgar humor, but if it is, we find it quite amusing. We also found it disturbing, as practical jokes such as these sometimes have roots of anger. We believe it is possible that it may have been written by someone who took Atro-Phex. It may have been ineffective, or it may have caused unwanted side effects, thereby leading the user to want to “strike back” at the company. As of this writing, the response had been on the website for almost eight months. Therefore, it does not say much about the operations of the retailer’s website if they have not removed this response in this long span of time.

We are also disconcerted by the fact that the company’s website is non-operational at the time of this review. We found a home page, but were unable to click on any of the links. Sometimes, when a company is getting “off the ground,” their websites are not functioning at full capacity. However, clicks to their non-operational links will be met by the words “Coming soon,” most often with “friendly” graphics. However, we could not even find those. To us, this practice seems like apathy on the part of their company. Therefore, we cannot have faith in their product.

Atro-Phex is marketed to assist people in achieving their desired weight loss, which is becoming more universal, due to newly discovered health risks associated with obesity. This capsule may work well for some people, though cannot tell for certain, as we have major issues.
We are disturbed greatly by the lack of pertinent information, such as the dosing schedule and the ingredients. If a user does not know how to take the product, it may be extremely difficult for him/her to obtain any benefits from use, as taking it at the proper time may enhance the effectiveness of a product, while taking it at the wrong time may have dangerous effects. If a user takes the capsule without knowing what is in it, dangerous consequences may result if a person is allergic to anything in the product, as mentioned earlier. The theory behind the response of the customer mentioned above only adds to our concerns.
Atro-Phex may be effective. However, there are hundreds of health products out there that actually disclose the ingredients. Their websites also tell people how to take the products, and their links lead to important information. Dieters may prefer to direct their needs here.
