Orovo |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
Orovo is a company which has created a niche for itself in the holistic market, with products such as Acnevva, ExfoZiti, Idebenox, Dermavecta, Alpha T-1 and NeuroXplode, as well as countless others. Many consumer are very afraid that their burgeoning waist line will severely impact their health, because we all know by now that weight gain has been associated with some really serious and lifestyle altering diseases and physical conditions.
Some manufactures leech on to this fear and use it to market their products, by promoting them as being able to address a wide variety of non-related issues and ailments to make a sale. Be advised some companies do not always match the hype used to market their products. Let’s take a look at the namesake product - Orovo, which has garnered quite a bit of attention as of late as a weight loss and “anti-aging product”.
|
 | Pros |
• Contains some basic elements, but they are not specifically weight loss agents
|
 | Cons |
• Overall impotent formula
• We feel, formula will not instigate sustainable weight loss
• No testimonials or research posted at time of review
• Extremely expensive and overpriced, given its actual formulary
|
 | Products Formula |
We have rarely seen a weight loss product use so many grains in their formula. For instance, Orovo contains: Barley to try to help reduce cholesterol and aid with heart disease; Buckwheat to ease cholesterol levels; Flaxseed to deliver users healthy omega fats; and Alfalfa Sprouts to help lower bad cholesterol and fat. These grains may be healthy, but they have nothing to do we feel with easing wrinkles or shedding actual fat.
Orovo also uses the Acai berry which is a “Superfood” that is rich in antioxidants; Cayenne Pepper to boost digestion; Lactobacillus Acidophilus to replenish the bodies supply of good bacteria to increase digestive health; Garlic as a antiviral, which may also help with cardiovascular health and immune function. These elements are also clearly useful in boosting health, but where are the weight loss extracts?
|
 | Formula In Depth |
Orovo actually uses two low level weight loss elements –Green Tea and Alpha Lipoic Acid. We find Green tea extract to be a really low-grade thermogenic agent, which in no way can compare with real and effective fat burners such as Advantra-Z.
Alpha Lipoic Acid is used to help ease blood sugar levels and boost energy levels. Some developers, such as this one, use these kinds of elements because they are promoting the idea that boosted blood sugar levels are responsible for weight gain. However, this has not been proven to be true. In fact, this just makes consumers believe they are getting a real weight loss agent, when in fact they are getting an element that has more potential of being able to starve off Alzheimer’s or Parkinson disease, for which its results have been promising, than boosting sustainable weight loss.

 | Customer Feedback |
Testimonials are a feature that consumers often look for on websites, to see if a product works. At time of review, Orovo’s website only posts one testimonial, which was troubling. This testimonial was for their product line in general, and not for Orovo in particular. We have rarely, if ever, seen a product developer post only one testimonial when they are selling 13 different products on one website. This indicates to us that their customers may not be satisfied with the results they are getting. If they were satisfied and happy with their results we have little doubt that they would write in and Orovo would post more testimonials – it’s just that simple.
|
 | Conclusion |
Orovo’s website is heavy on hype and very “lite” on research, which proves their products can both boost weight loss and ease the signs of aging. Overall, when you really look at the ingredients used in this formula, the truth becomes obvious- most of them may be useful in terms of augmenting basic health, but that’s about it. When it comes to weight loss this formula is not the best.
We have rarely seen one product successfully address two diametrically opposed health related issues, such as weight loss and aging. No doubt when consumers first decide to look for a holistic product to help them lose weight, they are confronted with many products like this one, which look good on the surface, but which have little or no real substance.
However, there are many good products and ingredients on the market, such as Hoodia, a results oriented appetite suppressant and patented Advantra-Z, an intense and effective fat burner. They are often used together in the more effective weight loss formulas- some of which offer free samples for evaluation.
